Indiana Ice News Release
INDIANAPOLIS-The Indiana Ice announced today that goaltender Dalton Izyk has committed to playing college hockey at Robert Morris University. RMU is an NCAA Div. I member of the Atlantic Hockey conference.
Izyk becomes the third Iceman to join the Colonials roster since Indy joined the USHL in 2004. Brandon Blandina (2007-08) and Ron Cramer (2005-08) both played four years for Robert Morris before embarking on their professional careers.
In his second year with the Ice, Izyk has spent the lion's share of time in net for Indy this season. In 33 games, the Oswego, NY native has logged 13 wins and 913 saves. He has recorded two shutouts in his USHL career, one against Muskegon in the 2011-12 campaign and his second in the 2012-13 home opener against the Omaha Lancers.
Izyk and the Indiana Ice begin a nine-game home stand on Sunday from Bankers Life Fieldhouse as the team hosts the Youngstown Phantoms on "Family Sunday," presented by Simon Malls. Indy will also be hosting their annual "Pack the House for Charity" night on Saturday, March 2 against the Muskegon Lumberjacks from Bankers Life Fieldhouse.
Single-game tickets start at $11 for Bankers Life Fieldhouse games and general admission tickets for Pan Am Plaza games are $10. There is a $2 discount for children 10 and under and seniors 62 and over. Tickets can be purchased through Ticketmaster by calling 1-800-745-3000, online at ticketmaster.com or by visiting select Wal-Mart and Simon Mall locations and the Bankers Life Fieldhouse box office.
Indiana Ice season, half-season, and group tickets are on sale now, in addition to flex books starting at $125. Each of these multi-ticket packages, as well as five-game mini plans, are available through the Indiana Ice office. For more information on tickets, call the Indiana Ice at (317) 925-4423.
