The Michigan Warriors saw their chances to win the Robertson Cup Tournament fall apart as the NAHL West Champion Fairbanks Ice Dogs scored 4 goals in the 3rd period for a come from behind victory and hand the Michigan Warriors their 2nd defeat in two days, 4-2. NAHL MVP Robert Tadazak, of Lapeer, made 37 saves in the loss for the Warriors, who got goals from Chris Eckler (1) and Captain Scott Henegar (5). The Warriors held a 2-0 lead heading into the 3rd period.
The Warriors play tournament hosts the Topeka Roadrunners on Thursday night with a 7:35 (CST) Face-off, in what could be their final game of the season.
