Starter Tim Black was handed the loss for the Cardinals (2-5), giving up seven hits and six earned runs with three walks and two strikeouts over 4 1/3 innings.

Six different players picked up those hits for Ottawa, including Cody Mombourquette who doubled and added a run scored. LaDale Hayes and Mark Charrette each had RBI singles while Kevin Dietrich singled and added a run scored. Eitan Maoz doubled while Chris Latimer singled to round out the Ottawa offence.
