The trio of Drew LeBlanc, Simon Olsson and Brian O'Neill produced 24 points (5G, 19A) for Chicago, while Rob Madore was the workhorse in net playing in all seven games while posting a 2.84 GAA and a .927 SV%.

The team made it to the USHL Final Four last year, before falling to the eventual Champion Sioux Falls Stampede

3-2 in overtime back on 5/12/07. The Steel have seven all-time playoff wins since joining the USHL at the start of the 2000-01 season and made it to the Eastern Division Finals in 2005.
