Huntsville's Rohr Named Player Of The Week

CHARLOTTE, NC 27, 2009) The Southern Professional Hockey League today announced Justin Rohr of the Huntsville Havoc is the SPHL Player of the Week for October 22-24.

The 27-year-old scored four goals and added an assist as the Havoc went 2-1 on the road to start the season, including a split against the defending champion Knoxville Ice Bears.

Rohr tallied a goal and an assist in Huntsvilles season-opening 8-3 win at Fayetteville on Thursday. After being kept off the scoresheet in a 6-1 loss to Knoxville on Friday, the Lloydminster, Alberta native rebounded in a big way on Saturday. Rohr got Huntsville rolling with a shorthanded goal early in the first period before netting two third-period goals to complete the hat trick in a 5-2 win over the Ice Bears. Rohr finished with a +4 rating for the game and a +5 rating for the week.

After beginning last season with HK Vojvodina Rohr joined Huntsville late in the year and finished with 11 points in 14 games, including seven goals.
