Huntsville Channel Cats Take 2-0 in SEHL Championship Series
The Huntsville Channel Cats have taken a commanding 2-0 lead in the South East Hockey League best of five finals following a 3-1 victory over the Knoxville Ice Bears on Friday night in Huntsville at the Von Braun Center.
The Channel Cats got goals from Luke Phillips, Joe Urbanik, and Mike Degurse. Degurse's goal was the game winner at 10:36 of the third period. The Ice Bears lone tally came from K.J. Voorhees.
The series now shifts to Knoxville for game #3 on Sunday afternoon and game for, if needed, will also be at the Knoxville Civic Center on Monday night.
