
Houston Dash Acquire Rights to Goalkeeper Ella Dederick from OL Reign

The Houston Dash have acquired the rights to goalkeeper Ella Dederick in a trade with OL Reign for Houston's natural third-round pick in the 2023 NWSL Draft, the teams announced today.
Dederick appeared in three matches for OL Reign during the 2021 regular season and earned her first start on June 5. The Camarillo, Calif. native played collegiately at Washington State University and is first in career wins, career minutes played, career games played and second all-time in career saves and career shutouts.
The Houston Dash will begin its 2022 campaign with the start of preseason training on Feb. 1. The first competition of 2022 is slated to begin with the 2022 NWSL Challenge Cup which will kick off on March 19.
