Hounds-Launch Game Rescheduled for July 22 in Charlotte
June 24, 2016 - Major League Lacrosse (MLL)
Charlotte Hounds News Release
CHARLOTTE, NC - Major League Lacrosse today announced that the Charlotte Hounds vs. Florida Launch game originally scheduled for Saturday, June 18, has been rescheduled for Friday, July 22, at American Legion Memorial Stadium in Charlotte, NC. Faceoff is scheduled for 7:30pm and the game will be broadcast on Lax Sports Network.
The June 18 game at FAU Stadium in Boca Raton, FL, was ultimately postponed following more than three hours of delays due to heavy rain and lightning in the area. Scheduling conflicts at FAU Stadium prevented the Launch and MLL from finding a suitable replacement date in Boca Raton. While the make-up game will be played in Charlotte, the Launch will be considered the home team for record keeping.
The addition of the July 22 game creates a true back-to-back weekend for the Hounds at American Legion Memorial Stadium, as Charlotte also hosts the Denver Outlaws on Saturday, July 23 at 7:30pm.
Tickets for the July 22 game are not included in season-ticket holder packages, however, the Hounds will be offering season-ticket holders their seats at a 50% off discount. Complete details on ticket purchases for July 22 will be announced in the next few days.
The Hounds (4-3) next host expansion team the Atlanta Blaze (3-4) at American Legion Memorial Stadium on Saturday, June 25, at 7:30pm. The game is presented by Bank of America and will be the Hounds' first Mascot Night, featuring sports characters from around Charlotte.
