Hounds Add to Staff

February 12, 2013 - Major League Lacrosse (MLL) - Charlotte Hounds News Release

Charlotte, N.C. (February 12, 2013) - Charlotte Lacrosse LLC has hired David Huson as Ticket Sales Associate. He officially joins the Major League Lacrosse team's front office this week.

The Marymount University grad majored in Business & Sport Management and was a member of the Men's Lacrosse Team. He completed an internship with the Washington Redskins, focusing on premium ticket sales and was most recently with the NBA's Charlotte Bobcats as an Inside Sales Consultant.

"Lacrosse is the fastest growing sport in the country and it quickly became the social event of the Summer in Charlotte. In our inaugural season, we were Top 3 (in MLL) in season ticket sales and Top 4 in overall attendance. David's unique skill set and tenacity will help us keep pace with the growth and excitement, as well as continue to build relationships and provide value to fans and regional businesses," said Wade Leaphart, Hounds Chief Operating Officer.

As Ticket Sales Associate, Huson will primarily focus on season ticket sales and service, group ticket sales and fundraiser programs, as well as being a consistent presence at business and community events.

The Hounds also welcomed their 2013 Spring/Summer interns this week: Courtney Collins (Clemson 2012) and Thomas Berlacher (North Carolina 2012). Courtney will focus on community events and grassroots marketing while Thomas will concentrate on business development and team marketing.
