HARRISBURG-March 27, 2004...It was more of the same for the Harrisburg Horizon last night as they cruised to a 112-88 win over the Schuylkill Fire Dogs. The win improved Harrisburg's record to a league-best 4-0.

Willie Chandler scored 26 points and Kevin Rowe added 23 for the Horizon, who led by as many as 31 late in the game. Wendyl Daniel contributed 18 points and 13 rebounds.

Forward Jarad Mills scored a team-high 25 points for the Fire Dogs in the losing effort. Forward Cherron Jackson and guard Karim Francisco each had 16 points.

With the score tied at 15, Chandler scored eight straight points just before the first quarter expired. Harrisburg never trialed after that point, maintaining a comfortable lead throughout the game. A turnaround jump shot from forward Jamal Palmer extended Harrisburg's lead to 20 midway through the third quarter.

Harrisburg's average margin of victory this season is 23.5 points.

Rowe's 23 points were enough to keep him atop the EBA in scoring with an average of 27 points per game. Rowe was 5-9 from three-point range and grabbed 7 rebounds.

The Horizon will continue their season April 10 when they host Philadelphia at Penn State Harrisburg. Next up for the Fire Dogs is a home game against Delaware at Nativity High School in Pottsville.
