The Johnstown Generals home opener will be see a battle of former NFL QB ¬â¢s as the Generals QB David Dinkins and former Buffalo Bill takes on the Northern Kentucky River Monsters QB Jared Lorenzen and former NY Giant, US Army Field @ Cambria County War Memorial ArenaSaturday March 05, 2011 @ 7:30. Tickets start at $7.00 dollars and include game promotion of buy (1) one adult ticket and receive (1) one kids (2-12 years old) free.
#10 David Dinkins signed as a QB but used as a utility player to include DB with the Buffalo Bills of the NFL for 2 seasons and then Amsterdam Admirals of NFL Europe. then several indoor teams in the AFL, IFL, CIFL, and AIFA. Dinkins played college football at Morehead State where he became the first individual in the I-AA division to throw for more than 5,000 yards (5,572) and rush for more than 3,000 yards (3,765). Currently enshrined in the Morehead State Hall of Fame. Is regarded as one of the more versatile, and explosive players in the indoor game.
#22 Jared Lorenzen attended the University of Kentucky set school records in total offense, passing yards, and passing touchdowns, signed as a free agent with the NY Giants being a part of their Super Bowl XLII Championship team. Later signed with Indianapolis Colts, and the Kentucky Horsemen of the AF2.
