NASHUA, NH - The Nashua Silver Knights and the City of Nashua will hold a special pre-game ceremony prior to their Saturday, June 22nd game against Old Orchard Beach in conjunction with the Rolling Thunder © New Hampshire Chapter 1.

The Silver Knights along with the City of Nashua will dedicate a single black chair which will remain unoccupied for eternity, in honor of the more than 92,000 American Soldiers who are unaccounted for.

Holman Stadium will become the first facility in New Hampshire to have a POW/MIA seat. Currently in Massachusetts the Boston Garden, Gillette Stadium and LeLacheur Park with the Lowell Spinners all have POW/MIA Seats. On July 4th Fenway Park is scheduled to have their POW/MIA seat dedication.

"We are eternally grateful for the sacrifices the men and women of our armed services have made and continue to make," said Silver Knights President Tim Bawmann. "This chair represents the ultimate sacrifice and is the ultimate reminder that these men and women are never forgotten."

The pre-game ceremony will begin at 7 p.m. with a special Rolling Rally around the Holman Stadium warning track featuring the Rolling Thunder © New Hampshire Chapter 1members, with the seat and plaque unveiling beginning at 7 p.m. on the concourse.

Bob McGuigan, representative of the Rolling Thunder © New Hampshire Chapter 1 will be on hand for this special ceremony.

"Bob and the Rolling Thunder have been instrumental in this process," said Bawmann. "We are honored to be the first facility in New Hampshire to have this seat. The chair is sure to convey a powerful message for Nashua fans for years to come."
