ORLANDO - Orlando Predators QB Randy Hippeard has been named the Arena Football League's Under Armour Offensive Player of Week 1 for his role in the team's season-opening 76-25 victory over the Tampa Bay Storm.
Hippeard led an offense that scored on all seven of its possessions as he built a commanding 62-19 lead before being relieved by Bernard Morris in the fourth quarter. The fourth-year signal caller completed 20-of-30 pass attempts on the night, throwing for 241 yards with six touchdowns and no interceptions.
The Orlando Predators return to the Amway Center for their home opener against the Portland Steel this Saturday, April 9. Kickoff is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. ET. Tickets are still available for purchase by calling 407-355-2200 or online at OrlandoPredators.com.
