
Hilary Knight Named Player of the Week

New York, NY - The National Women's Hockey League (www.nwhl.co) today announced that Boston Pride forward Hilary Knight has been named Player of the Week.
In a battle of the two NWHL All-Star Captains, Knight scored the only goal in Boston's 1-0 victory over Buffalo. The tally, which came at the 9:52 mark of the second period, was assisted by fellow All-Stars Jordan Smelker and Kacey Bellamy. It was her league leading eighth of the season.
Boston travels to Connecticut for a meeting with the first place Whale on December 27th. Knight and other members of the U.S. National Team will travel to the team's Pre-World Championships Camp in Blaine, Minnesota.
