Heat Recall Dexter Pittman from NBA Development League

MIAMI, FL - The Miami HEAT announced today that center Dexter Pittman has been recalled from the Sioux Falls Skyforce of the NBA Development League. He was re-assigned to the HEAT's D-League affiliate on January 18 after previously being assigned on December 26 and recalled on January 17.
Pittman appeared in 12 games (nine starts) with Sioux Falls and averaged 13.3 points, 9.2 rebounds, 1.83 blocks, 1.00 steals and 25.8 minutes while shooting 48.8 percent from the field. He posted six double-doubles and was named to the 2013 NBA D-League Showcase Second Team. In his most recent stint, a back-to-back set against the Texas Legends, Pittman recorded a 21-point, 12-rebound double-double on January 18 and then an 18-point, 13-rebound double-double, including a perfect 8-of-8 from the foul line, on January 19.
Pittman will rejoin the HEAT and be available for Wednesday's game against the Toronto Raptors.
