LANCASTER, Calif. - Trailing by eight runs entering the bottom of the fourth inning, the JetHawks chipped away to tie the score in the seventh and won on a James Ramsay homer in the ninth for a 14-13 walk-off win over the Inland Empire 66ers on Wednesday night at The Hangar.

The home run off Alan Busenitz (0-1) to lead off the bottom of the ninth was Ramsay's ninth of the season and the first walk-off homer by a JetHawk since Domingo Santana on May 12, 2012. The resulting victory also gave Lancaster its first sweep since May 8-10 against Lake Elsinore.

The 66ers (58-63) plated three runs against Akeem Bostick in the first inning, but the JetHawks (63-59) took the lead in the bottom half. After consecutive singles by Ramsay and Alex Bregman, Lancaster put on a double steal, and Ramsay scored on a wild throw to third. Ronnie Mitchell lifted a sacrifice fly to left field, scoring Bregman, and Marc Wik followed with a go-ahead, two-run double to left field.

In the second, however, Inland Empire rallied to retake the lead. With two in scoring position, Tyler Palmer tied the game with a RBI-groundout, and a Mike Fish RBI-single gave the 66ers a 5-4 lead. An Eric Aguilera RBI-double and a two-run homer by Brandon Bayardi capped the rally.

Bostick lasted just two innings, yielding eight runs (seven earned) on seven hits.

With Troy Scribner pitching in relief, Inland Empire tallied three runs in the top of the third and scored two in the fourth. The JetHawks, meanwhile, scored once in the third inning, as Chase McDonald tripled and scored on a Mitchell groundout. McDonald also hit a two-run homer in the fourth to highlight a four-run frame that brought Lancaster within four runs.

Brian Holberton hit a two-run homer off Trevor Foss in the bottom of the fifth to bring the score to 13-11, and the JetHawks tied the game in the seventh on a RBI-groundout by Bregman and a Mitchell RBI-double.

Kevin Comer (2-4) earned the win, striking out five and holding the 66ers scoreless over three innings of relief work.

The JetHawks open a four-game road series against the Lake Elsinore Storm on Thursday with first pitch scheduled for 7 p.m. The JetHawks will send Bryan Radziewski (3-6, 4.21) to the mound, and Brad Wieck (1-5, 6.18) will start for the Storm.
