
Hawks Sign Two More

Cincinnati Riverhawks News Release
(Cincinnati, OH) â The Cincinnati Riverhawks announce the signing of two more players for the 2003 season. The team has signed GK Matt Reiswerg and D Nick Glaser.
Matt, a 6-2 goalkeeper, joins the Riverhawks after playing for Indiana University. A native of Carmel, IN, Matt spent time in the net for the Hoosiers over the past few seasons and was part of the 2000 and 2001 national champion teams for Indiana.
A 24-year old defender, Nick comes to the team after spending the 2002 season with the Nashville Metros of the Premier Development League. While with the Metros, Nick tallied 9 pointes (4g, 1a) while appearing in 16 games. Originally from Hendersonville, TN, Nick went to school at the University of Memphis and played for the Tigers there.
ELLER SCORES GAME WINNER FOR BALTIMORE
Riverhawks player Allan Eller, currently with the Baltimore Blast of the MISL, scored the game winner last night to secure the win over the Philadelphia KIXX. The win for the Blast propels them into the MISL Championship Series where they will face the winner of the Milwaukee-Kansas City game on Sunday.
As an A-League premier team and part of the United Soccer Leagues, the Cincinnati Riverhawks enter its sixth season in 2003. The Riverhawks will open their 2003 home schedule May 2 against their Central Division rivals the Indianapolis Blast at 8:05 pm.
