
Harsco to Present 2019 Texas League All-Star Game at ONEOK Field

The Tulsa Drillers announced today that Harsco Corp. has agreed to become the title sponsor of the 2019 Texas League All-Star Game that will be played on Tuesday, June 25 at Tulsa's ONEOK Field. The All-Star Game is the marque event for the Texas League and will bring players and executives to Tulsa from other cities throughout the league.
The event will now be billed as the Harsco 2019 Texas League All-Star Game. Harsco is headquartered in Pennsylvania with a major presence in Tulsa, providing industrial services and engineered products to large industries, including steel, railways and energy.
With the announcement, the Drillers have also unveiled the official logo for the All-Star Game. The logo incorporates elements and of the new Tulsa flag, while prominently featuring Tulsa's iconic Golden Driller.
Next summer's game will be the 83rd playing of the Texas League's All-Star Game, and it will mark the seventh time that Tulsa has hosted the event. ONEOK Field was the site for the All-Star Game once before, in 2012.
"The entire Tulsa Drillers organization is honored to be selected to host the 2019 Texas League All-Star Game and Home Run Derby," said Drillers President Mike Melega. "It's a great opportunity for Tulsa fans to see the best prospects in all of baseball and an even better opportunity for us to show off our great city to visitors from all over the country. It is truly a showcase event."
The game has been a recent showcase for future major league stars, including many who participated in this year's MLB playoffs. Current major league players who have played in past Texas League All-Star Games include:

Dallas Keuchel (Houston Astros) - Tulsa native; 2016 American League Cy Young winner
Nolan Arenado (Colorado Rockies) - 5-Time Gold Glove winner; 4-Time MLB All-Star
Mike Moustakas (Milwaukee Brewers) - 2-Time MLB All Star
Matt Carpenter (St. Louis Cardinals) - 3-Time MLB All-Star
Max Muncy (Los Angeles Dodgers) - Game winning HR in 18-inning World Series game
Alex Bregman (Houston Astros) - 2018 MLB All-Star Game MVP
Salvador Perez (Kansas City Royals) - 6-Time MLB All-Star; 2015 World Series MVP
