Harrell Earns All-Arena Honors

Harrell (5-foot-10, 195 lbs., Arkansas-Pine Bluff) completed his third season in the blue and gold. The Plant H.S. (Tampa, FL) product completed a career year defensively with the Storm, climbing the history books in the process. He finished the season leading the team in interceptions (7) and fumble recoveries (5). Harrell's seven interceptions are fifth most in Storm single-season history while his five fumble recoveries are ranked tied for third most in season history.

Harrell had a breakout performance in a 63-28 victory over the Jacksonville Sharks in week six of the season. His play resulted in a 42-point swing in favor of the Storm, with the Sharks not scoring (-21) and the Storm scoring on each turnover (+21). His performance earned him the League's Most Valuable Player of the Week honor.

He would go on to leave his mark in multiple games, including a game-saving interception versus the New Orleans VooDoo with 46 seconds left in regulation, sealing the Storm's 35-34 week 10 victory.

Harrell ended his 2015 AFL campaign ranked tied for fifth with seven interceptions and tied for second with five fumble recoveries.

Over the course of three seasons, Harrell has started in 32-of-33 games for the Storm, recording 148.0 tackles, 1.0 tackle for loss, 13 interceptions, 24 pass breakups, eight fumble recoveries and six defensive touchdowns.

This is the first All-Arena selection of Harrell's three-year career.
