Harman Activated From Disabled List Friday

KODAK, Tenn. - The Tennessee Smokies, Double-A minor league affiliate of the Chicago Cubs, announced this afternoon that LHP Casey Harman has been activated from the disabled list in advance of today's series finale against the Huntsville Stars.

With the move, the Smokies active roster is set at 25, which is the Southern League maximum.

Harman, 23, owns a 4.20 ERA (7 ER/15.0 IP) with a 0-1 record in eight relief appearances for the Smokies in 2012. He was promoted to Tennessee on April 22 from the High-A Daytona Cubs. With the D-Cubs Harman held no record with a 0.00 ERA (0 ER/9.1 IP) in five relief appearances. The Fort Myers, Fla. native was drafted by the Cubs in the 29th round of the 2010 MLB First-Year Player Draft.
