Brevard Blue Ducks News Release
Melbourne, FL - The World Famous Harlem Globetrotters bring their 2005 "World of Fun" North American Tour to Melbourne as they take on the New York Nationals at the Clemente Center at Florida Tech at 7:00 PM on Tuesday, March 8th.
This will be the second straight year the Brevard Blue Ducks have brought the Globetrotters to Melbourne. Basketball's "Ambassadors of Goodwill" sold out quickly in their inaugural appearance last year.
"It was an exciting evening for families in Brevard last year. It was about as much fun as you can have on a basketball court," beamed Ducks owner, Mike Richman. "We're happy to be able to bring them back to Brevard this year."
Having played in 17 countries and before over 121 million fans, the Globetrotters, who were inducted into the Basketball Hall of Fame in 2002, keep their act fresh by introducing new ball-handling and comedy routines while at the same time, keeping the timeless classics from throughout their history.
The Melbourne event will also feature a 30-minute âmeet and greet' session at the end of the game, allowing local fans a chance to get autographs and interact with their favorite Globetrotter.
Tickets start at $20. For more information or to order tickets, call the Brevard Blue Ducks at (321) 751-BLUE or visit their website at www.BrevardBlueDucks.com.
