Hammerheads Release Preseason Schedule

Wilmington, NC - While fans have anticipated the announcement of preseason for weeks, the wait is now over. The Wilmington Hammerheads officially released their 2013 preseason schedule during a press conference on Wednesday. Those that attended had the first glimpse of the lineup that will be opposite the Hammerheads squad on the pitch in the coming weeks.
Amongst the scheduled preseason games is a rematch with the Charleston Battery at Blackbaud Stadium following the 1-nil loss the Hammerheads suffered in the 2013 USL PRO finals. The only preseason match the Hammerheads will play in Wilmington is versus the local collegiate men's team, University of North Carolina Wilmington, at UNCW Soccer Stadium at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, March 27.
