Hall Becomes Newest Swashbuckler

LAKE CHARLES LA - The Louisiana Swashbucklers continue the preparations for 2011 by signing James Hall to the team. He played defensive end and linebacker for the University of North Alabama. At 6'4'' and 270 lbs. he will be a formidable presence on the Bucs new "Monster Defense."

 

In 2006 UNA were the champions of their respective conference and Hall was a member of that squad. In that same year he is credited for 47 tackles, nine tackles for a loss, seven pass break-ups, three forced fumbles and 3.5 sacks.

 

The following year (2007) he had 73 tackles, 14 tackles for a loss, five fumble recoveries, two blocked kicks, 6.5 sacks, seven forced fumbles and 12 pass break-ups.

 

Swashbucklers head coach Darnell Lee will be opening training camp in early March as the Bucs open regular season play on March 19th against the Albany Panthers.
