
Halifax To Host 2009-10 PBL All-Star Game

(Halifax, N.S.) The Halifax Rainmen will play host to the first Premier Basketball League All Star game. Some of the best players in North America will land in Halifax to dazzle and entertain basketball fans alike.
"I'm extremely excited to bring this great event back to our wonderful city," said Rainmen owner Andre Levingston. "Our organization along with our great partners will make this an all star game to remember. We are also pleased to announce Rogers as the presenting sponsor for our All-Star weekend. "
The 2009-10 season kicks off for the Rainmen with the annual Holiday Classic which consists of 3 pre-season games to be played December 19, 20 and 21st at the Halifax Metro Centre. During the regular 2010 season, the Halifax Rainmen will play 10 home games and 10 away games.
