Gwizzlies working with Life University

Atlanta Vision News Release

The ABA Gwinnett Gwizzlies are finalizing their deal to secure Life University basketball venue as their home arena for the 2004-05 ABA season.

The Life venue has a great history of basketball including once use as a venue for the Atlanta Hawks tryouts. Located in Marietta, an affluent suburb of Atlanta and the home of Southern Poly Tech University, Lockhead and Dobbins Air force base, the Gwizzlies organization think the team will attract a diverse group of fans.

Suwanee sports academy, the Gwizzlies practice facility and Gwinnett county neighborhoods are in a close radius of Life.

Note: OurSports Central no longer actively covers the American Basketball Association (ABA) as a professional league due in part to its inability to publish and play a schedule and the transitory nature of many of its teams.
