Gwizzlies To Participate In Cobb County Chamber Of Commerce Ribbon Cutting

The Georgia Gwizzlies of the Continental Basketball League are pleased to announce they will be honored at a ribbon cutting ceremony to introduce the team to the area. Gwizzlies owner Embry Malone made the announcement on Friday.
The Cobb County Chamber of Commerce will hold the ceremony at the South Cobb Recreation Center located at 875 Six Flags Drive in Austell. Along with the ribbon cutting ceremony, the team will be holding its annual Media Day and hold the first day of training camp.
Gwizzlies owner Embry Malone says, "We are honored to have our team featured by the Cobb County Chamber of Commerce. This is a great opportunity for us to get in front of the fans and to local business leaders. As an organization we thank the Chamber for its support."
The Continental Basketball League is a five team league based in Ft. Lauderdale, FL. The league will play a 16 game schedule starting April 30th. The CBL has teams in Marietta, GA; Wilmington, NC; Birmingham, AL; Savannah, GA and Fayetteville, NC.
