Gulfport, MS. The ABA Gulf Coast Flash professional basketball team that begins play in December today announced a tryout camp for Saturday, August 14th at the Herbert Wilson Recreation Center, 3625 Hancock Avenue, Gulfport MS 39501. The tryouts will begin at 2pm, the tryout and registration fee is $50. Players must be at least 18 years of age.
"They tell me we are in one of the toughest divisions," stated Jeremy Anderson, GM. "With the defending ABA champion SETX Mavericks in our new Gulf Coast division plus other contending playoff teams, we need to be very strong. We know there are great players in this area definitely able to compete at this level and we hope to find them.
