GREENEVILLE, TN - The start of the Greeneville Astros' twelfth season competing in Appalachian League play is barely one month away. With that in mind, beginning Wednesday, May 20 at 10:00am, individual game tickets will be available for purchase at www.greenevilleastros.com.
Tickets to some of the most popular nights on the schedule will be available including Opening Day and the Fourth of July. However, fans wanting to purchase their individual game tickets in person or over the phone will have to wait just a few more days until the Astros' ticket office at Pioneer Park opens for business on Tuesday, May 26 at 10:00am.
The home opener for the Astros is scheduled for Thursday, June 25 at 7:00pm against the Bristol Pirates and there will be multiple promotions for fans to enjoy that night. It will all begin with a magnet schedule giveaway and conclude with a spectacular Opening Day fireworks show immediately follow the game.
During the game, fans will enjoy $1 Dog Night with hot dogs available for just $1 at the concessions stands. However, the first 500 fans through the gate will have the opportunity to receive a free hot dog as a token of appreciation. Meanwhile, for Thirsty Thursday, there will be discounted drink specials at both the concessions stands and the Tiki Hut.
A full promotional schedule will be announced soon. Once released, fans are encouraged to follow the team through social media and check www.greenevilleastros.com regularly for updates and additions.
Anyone interested in purchasing tickets to multiple games may also consider a full season, half-season or 7-game mini-plan ticket memberships. Each of these membership packages is available for purchase now on the team website, at the Pioneer Park ticket office, or over the phone at (423) 638-0411.
The Astros' Full Season Ticket Membership, which is available for $195, provides the best value with a discount of up to 36% off the individual game price and includes a reserved seat for all 34 home games. The Half-Season Ticket Membership is $110, and offers up to 28% off and includes the 17 games that best suit the member's needs.
Both full season and half-season memberships will receive several additional benefits including tickets for any Astros postseason games at Pioneer Park at no extra charge, a new reserved parking area, entry on game day 30 minutes earlier than the general public to secure chances of receiving giveaways, first right to renew seats each season, a Christmas ornament, name recognition in the gameday program, a 10% discount in The Upper Deck Team Store, a 25% discount on nightly suite rentals, and a special season ticket membership gift.
Members will also receive an invitation to exclusive private events such as the annual Meet-and-Greet with the new players and coaches before each season and a season ticket member-only picnic during the season.
The Astros also offer two unique 7-game mini-plan memberships to some of the most exciting nights during the season. These mini-plans are available for $50, which adds up to 21% off the regular ticket price.
The Firework Mini-Plan Membership features every home game that is followed by a fireworks display including Opening Day, July 4th, the season finale, and every Friday Night Fireworks show. The other is the Giveaway Mini-Plan Membership that includes the magnet schedule, the annual Hometown Heroes bobblehead, the fleece stadium blanket, and other hot items.
Much like the season ticket memberships, there are additional perks with each of the mini-plan memberships. These members will have the option to purchase their reserved seats for each Astros home playoff game, early entry into the ballparks, a reserved parking area, first right of renewal on the seats the following season, and invitations to special events such as the annual team Meet-and-Greet.
