Muskegon Lumberjacks News Release
MUSKEGON, Mich. - The Muskegon Lumberjacks have announced that during the home game on March 17th, 2023 at Trinity Health Arena the team will celebrate St. Paddy's Party during a game against the United States Development Program's U18 Team.
For the first time in Muskegon hockey history the Jacks and USNTDP will play on a green colored playing surface rather than the traditional white ice.
Combined with the green ice, the Jacks will don special green jerseys that will be auctioned off following the game. The green jerseys are the fourth and final of the specialty jerseys worn by the Lumberjacks during the 2022-23 season. The auction will be hosted online by Dash Auctions and will run from the end of the game through Monday March 20th at noon.
Designed by players and staff around the organization, the jerseys feature a forest green base with tan stripes along the bottom and sleeves. A specialized St. Paddy's Night Lumberjacks logo will be featured on the front of the jerseys while players names and numbers are displayed in a white font. Jersey design features are cut and sewn onto the fabric rather than sublimated for a professional look.
Single-game tickets are on sale now.
