Grand in the Stands Program Announced

Biloxi, MS - March 29, 2012 - Beginning April 2nd, the Mississippi Surge will launch their "Grand in the Stands" season ticket drive for the month of April. The team looks to increase their season ticket base to 1,000 seats as they work with the Mississippi Coast Coliseum on a new lease.
"It's important for the stability of hockey here on the Gulf Coast to have a solid season ticket base," said a Surge official. "Without that base, it's a struggle to maintain a viable business model here. We're very fortunate that we have a loyal and dedicated core group of fans who can help us spread the word."
To say thank you, the Surge are giving away commemorative jackets to season ticket holders who reserve their seats early upon reaching 1,000 season tickets. Other season ticket holder benefits will be based on package purchased.
The Surge begin the first round of the 2012 SPHL Playoffs against the Pensacola Ice Flyers this weekend and take the ice at the Power Plant for Game Two on Saturday, March 31st at 7:05 pm. Tickets are still available at the Surge Office or the Coast Coliseum Box Office.

Sign up for Pay as We Play or get your single game tickets for Saturday night's Game Two against the Pensacola Ice Flyers. Playoff tickets can be picked up in the Surge Office from 8:30-5:30 or at will call on Saturday night. The Surge head to Pensacola for Game One on Friday night and the Surge have a limited number of spaces left on the fan bus to the game.
