
Grambling State O-Linemen Signs with Stampede

HARRISBURG, PA (January 10, 2012) - Harrisburg Stampede's General Manager and Head Coach, Bernie Nowotarski announced today that he has signed Offensive Linemen, Randell Bennett for the 2012 Season.
Randell played his High School football at Cromwell HS in Cromwell, Connecticut. He was a 4 year letterman and he was a Connecticut All-State selection his senior year. Randell's college football career started at Valley Forge Military College in Wayne, Pennsylvania. He then transferred to Grambling State University in Grambling, Louisiana.
Randell currently lives in Cromwell, Connecticut and we are looking forward to seeing him in Harrisburg for Training Camp, which will start in mid-March. Randell is a big, strong solid player with outstanding O-Line foot and hand skills. He also brings with him, Indoor and Arena experience. Randell has played in the AIFA for the Stampede and was with the KC Command of the AFL. At 6'6" and 330lbs, Randell adds some great additional size and experience to the Stampede O-Line.
"Randell is certainly an upper level player and is a great addition to our Stampede roster. We are expecting him to have an outstanding season and that should bring scouts out see him and hopefully a shot at an upward move," commented Coach Nowotarski.
Just a Reminder: The Stampede's Last Open-Try Out before Training Camp in March will be on Friday February 3, 2012 at In The Net Sports Complex in Palmyra Pa., Registration starts at 9pm and the Work-Out is from 10pm - 12:30am Info can be found www.inthenet.com.
