Got Game Magazine to feature ABA in November issue

Published on October 22, 2004 under American Basketball Association (ABA) News Release

New York, NY. Michael Greene, Editor-in-Chief of Got Game Magazine, announced today that the ABA professional basketball league would be featured in the November 2004 issue of Got Game. Greene is collaborating with contributing author Wesley Brooks and ABA co-Founder Joe Newman to produce a story on the history, growth, popularity and uniqueness of the professional basketball league that once featured such players as Julius Erving, George Gervin, Spencer Haywood and Moses Malone.

According to Newman, "The ABA provides the most fast-paced, exciting, high-scoring basketball being played, with outstanding players and coaches - at affordable prices for the fans. The ABA game, with its unique rules and style, captures the best of the professional, international and college game - all combined into one action packed game."

Among other topics, the feature will highlight the rebirth of the ABA in 2000, growth of the league since 2003, the diversity of ownership and management of league teams, as well as new production and broadcast agreements that will increase domestic and international exposure of the ABA.

Got Game Magazine, the new resource for basketball and football players who want to improve their game provides valuable sport-specific training tips and routines, insightful interviews with pro and amateur athletes and coaches on how to gain a competitive edge - on and off the court or field, as well as lifestyle trends in nutrition, music, fashion, and entertainment to 150,000 dedicated athletes and fans around the country.
