
Gold Sox Start Four Game Home Stand Tonight at Colusa Casino Stadium

The Marysville Gold Sox (17 - 10) are looking to regain first place in the Great West League this week with a four-game home stand against the Sacramento Stealth (3 - 15) and Chico Heat (13 - 14) starting tonight. The Gold sox enter tonight's game one game behind the Medford Rogues.Wednesday against the Stealth will of course be wacky, as the Gold Sox are featuring $2 domestic beers and $2 hot dogs all game long. Game time is 7:05 p.m. and the Gold Sox are looking to get back in the win column after two back to back series sweeps at the hands of the Lodi Crushers and Medford Rogues.
The weekend will get started early on Thursday night, July 7th against the Chico Heat to kick off a three game series. The game will feature an Illes Golf Academy Environmental Alternatives Golf Ball Drop Hole in One Giveaway and Foster Family Appreciation night. Game time is 7:05 p.m. and tickets are available online now at www.GoldSox.com.
Friday night we are "Golding Out" Colusa Casino Stadium. Any fan who wears gold will get a free upgrade at the park. There will also be $5 Not Your Father's Root Beer Floats and $3 domestic beers to help keep the party going. Saturday night is Recology Fireworks Night at the park after the game. The Gold Sox will be delivering the fireworks on the field and fans can stick around and afterwards for a fireworks display courtesy of Recology.
