Gold Sox Partner with Beale Air Force Base
MARYSVILLE, CALIFORNIA: The Yuba-Sutter Gold Sox are proud to announce that they have partnered with Beale Air Force Base. "We extremely excited about this partnership. We are committed to our armed forces and the Gold Sox love the military. We love supporting our community and the Air Force Base is a massive part of that ," said VP/GM Michael Mink.
This season, the Gold Sox will be hosting many promotional nights to honor our armed services including Military Appreciation Night and Patriots Honor Night and we'll have exciting giveaways on each night. In addition, all active military members and veterans can attend home games for free as part of our Beale Nights (courtesy of Frank M. Booth; must show valid ID).
As part of our partnership, we will be attending the Beale Air Force Base Air and Space Expo. The Expo will be held on Saturday, April 28th from 9AM to 5PM for the general public with an exclusive rehearsal show on Friday, April 27th for DOD ID holders. Performers include the Patriots Jet Team, Wings of Blue, Precision Exotics, and much more. In addition to the aerial performers, patrons can look at many jaw dropping static displays such as the MC-12W Liberty, AH-64 Apache, the HH-60 Blackhawk, and many more.
The Gold Sox will have a booth at the Air Force and Space Expo and will be giving away "I (heart) Gold Sox buttons" (while supplies last), information about the upcoming season, and Mr. G will even be stopping by to take pictures with fans. "It's going to be a great time and we're excited to see all of our fans as well as the members of our armed forces," said Mink.
