MARYSVILLE, CALIFORNIA: The Yuba-Sutter gold Sox are proud to announce that The Happy Viking will be hosting Fan & Media Day for a second year. "We love working with the people at Happy Viking. It's an experience every time you go in there, they treat you like family," said VP/GM Michael Mink.
Last season, The Happy Viking brought ticket holders an amazing Fan & Media Day, consisting of a free Tri-Tip BBQ, a meet and greet with the Gold Sox players, a live DJ, and a 3-inning exhibition game against the Yuba City Bears. This year's event will be held on Sunday, May 27th from 4PM-8PM. "We want to do something special for our ticket holders before the season and The Happy Viking always helps us put on a great show," said Mink.
The Happy Viking is located in downtown Yuba City, and has been providing the town's best sports pub experience since 2008. They are currently voted "Best Neighborhood Tavern," "Best Happy Hour," and "Favorite Burger and Fries." They have 55 beers on tap and 20 HD TVs so fans can enjoy a drink and root for their favorite teams on screen.

The Gold Sox are kicking off Opening Day (presented by Colusa Casino) on Friday, June 1st against the 2017 GWL Champion Medford Rogues.
