Goaltender Jean-Michel Filiatrault is traded from the Remparts to the Oceanic

LONGUEUIL, Tuesday November 2nd 2004 (QMJHL) - The Rimouski Océanic have acquired veteran 20 year-old goaltender Jean-Michel Filiatrault from the Québec Remparts on Tuesday.
In return, the Océanic gave their 7th round pick (acquired from Cape Breton) of the 2005 entry draft and their 3rd round pick of the 2006 entry draft.
In six games so far this season, Filiatrault has a 2-1-1 record and a goals against average of 3.00. His save percentage is at .898.
In 2003-04, with the Remparts, Filiatrault took part in 58 games. He concluded the season with a 22-27-6 record, a 3.14 goals against average and a save percentage of .903.
