GLIFL Announces Fans MVP Award

The GLIFL has had a lot of success at the gate in its inaugural season, and that is a testament to the great fans of GLIFL indoor football. Because of that, and the league's commitment to work with its official fan site GLIFLfan.com, the GLIFL announced today the GLIFLfan.com Fans MVP Award.
In addition to the Vincent Cleveland Memorial Trophy to be given to the GLIFL's Most Valuable Player (as voted on by coaches, players, owners, league staff, and media personnel), the Fans MVP Award will be awarded to the fans' choice for league MVP.
"Our fans are the reason we've had a great first season," said league co-founder Jeff Spitaleri. "This is our way of thanking them. We were going to give them a part of the other MVP award, but that wasn't fair to what they have meant to us. They deserve their own MVP award to give out."
Voting for the GLIFLfan.com Fans MVP Award begins immediately. Fans can vote by emailing their vote for MVP to mvp@glifl.com. If fans are unable to email, they can also send their ballot by mail to:

Voting will continue through THURSDAY, August 3, at 11:59 P.M. The GLIFLfan.com Fans MVP Award will be announced and given at a pre-game ceremony at the GLIFL All-Star Game on August 5, 2006 at Stabler Arena in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania.
