The Giants will return to Municipal Stadium following the season's longest road trip of 10 games to face the Bakersfield Blaze starting Monday, May 3rd for a 4 game stint followed by a 3 game series with Inland Empire.

2) ARMADILLO WILLY'S LITTLE LEAGUER OF THE MONTH

Armadillo Willy's wants to encourage South Bay youth to be dedicated to sportsmanship, school, and community spirit. To show this, they have partnered with the San Jose Giants to recognize Little Leaguers who embody this belief.

All youth Little League or Softball players between the ages of 6-14 and active in a local league are eligible. All candidates should be active in their community with a sense of civic pride, role model in the classroom, and show good sportsmanship towards other teammates and opponents.

Winners of the Armadillo Willy's/San Jose Giants Little Leaguer of the Month will receive four box seat tickets to a San Jose Giants home game where they will be invited to throw out the ceremonial first pitch, receive a Giants souvenir pack, and have their picture taken with a San Jose Giants player or coach, plus a complimentary dinner for four at Armadillo Willy's BBQ.

Coaches and league officials are encouraged to click on the link below to generate the entry form. The form is a .pdf file and can be opened using Adobe Acrobat. After you have printed out the form, fill out all the sections of the application and fax to the San Jose Giants at (408) 297-1453 or return it to a manager at any of the six Armadillo Willy's restaurants located in the South Bay. Applications are also available at all six Armadillo Willy's restaurants in the South Bay.

Copies of the entry are being distributed to local little leagues. Be sure to ask a your little league officials for a hard copy of the entry form.
