This weekend get your fix of 48 hours of Danbury Whalers Hockey. It's our first weekend of back to back home games and it is going to be a blowout of a good time.
Friday Night, December 21st at 7:35 PM the Whalers take on the Danville Dashers. It's a tribute to Newtown Night. A night to come to a Whalers game and feel good about life. Be with friends, be with neighbors...we promise you a great time.
As part of the night we hold a moment of silence, we will read a statement from our organization, we will be wearing a Whalers / Sandy Hook patch and we will have various fundraising programs with all proceeds going to benefit the immediate needs of the students and families of Sandy Hook.
Fans are asked to bring a stuffed teddy bear to the game. The Whalers will have collection baskets set up in the lobby which will then be dropped to the proper representatives in Newtown.
After the game stop by Two Steps Downtown Grille on 5 Ives Street for the post game party.
Saturday's game is Health and Wellness Night. Set for a 7:35 PM start also against the Dashers. Health and Wellness professionals will be on the concourse level of the arena to speak with you about a variety of topics.
Saturday's post game party will be at Two Steps as well.

On Saturday, December 22nd at 10 AM at Three Brothers Diner in Danbury, Whalers fans will have a chance to have breakfast with the Whalers players.
