Georgia Gwizzlies News Release
I ,Embry Malone owner of the American Basketball Association Georgia Gwizzlies and our Boardmembers, stand firm, solid supportive of Mr. Joe Newman and Mr.Tinkham as owners of our league. As the League move foward toward our 2008-09 season,we in our organization commend Mr.Newman effort to allow women, minorities a chance of ownership in professional sports.Sometimes in life the wrong, unqualified person or persons are appointed to lead.
Many are called but few are choosen? Our organization and we know the ABA league will separate ourselves from any appearance of evil or a wolf in sheep clothing. We know through the consistent leadership of Newman and the ferverent prayers of the "righteous we will have a great pro basketball season.
Embry Malone owner/Head Coach
Note: OurSports Central no longer actively covers the American Basketball Association (ABA) as a professional league due in part to its inability to publish and play a schedule and the transitory nature of many of its teams. For information on professional minor leagues, please see OSC's basketball section.
