MILWAUKEE - The Milwaukee Iron and George Webb Restaurants have formed an extensive corporate partnership for the 2010 Arena Football season. Among the highlights of the marketing agreement will be the "George Webb Restaurants' First Down", a special George Webb Restaurants/Milwaukee Iron food promotion at participating restaurants and the "George Webb Restaurants' Post-Game Autograph Session" featuring the Iron players and coaches along with Rusty, the Iron mascot, and George Webb's mascot, George Webb Guy.
"We are extremely excited to welcome George Webb Restaurants to the Milwaukee Iron corporate partnership family. It will be great to have the Iron brand associated with such a legendary and recognizable brand as Wisconsin's own George Webb Restaurants," said Milwaukee Iron General Manager Jason Clark. "There has been a great deal of positive buzz surrounding the Milwaukee Iron and Arena Football so far this off-season; from the announcement of our new league, Arena Football One, to its recent purchase of the Arena Football League's assets, to the excitement of the Iron playing at the highest level of this sport. People are also remembering the tremendous support the Milwaukee Mustangs received when they played Arena Football at this level so it has everyone excited.
