Generals-Smokies Postponed on Friday

Jackson Generals News Release
JACKSON, TENN. (AUGUST 3, 2012) - The Jackson Generals game on Friday night against the Tennessee Smokies has been postponed due to unplayable field conditions. The game will be made up as part of a doubleheader on Saturday at 4:05 p.m.
Tickets for Friday's game can be exchanged for any 2012 regular season game at Pringles Park.
Jackson stands at 63-46 on the season and 21-18 in the second half. The Generals sit in second place the Southern League North standings 1-1/2 games behind the Chattanooga Lookouts.
RHP Matt Fox (0-1, 4.50) will make the game one start for Jackson on Saturday; LHP Mauricio Robles (1-1, 4.58) will throw game two. Tennessee's starting pitchers are to be determined. Saturday will be Elvis Night with Elvis impersonator Michael Chambliss will perform. There will be post-game Elvis fireworks show as well as the Jackson Chamber's "City-Wide Celebration."
