Generals Announce 2012 Schedule

JACKSON, TENN. (OCTOBER 27, 2011) - The Jackson Generals will open their 2012 season at Pringles Park on Thursday, April 5, against the Birmingham Barons, Double-A affiliate of the Chicago White Sox. First pitch is scheduled for 7:05. This marks the first time since 2005 that the Jackson club has opened a season at home.

The Generals will again play 70 home games at Pringles Park in 2012. The Generals have 10 Saturday home games scheduled and each will include postgame fireworks. In addition, four Friday night home games will include postgame fireworks. Jackson also has home games on Memorial Day (Monday, May 28 vs. Pensacola, marking their first ever visit to Pringles Park), Father's Day (Sunday, June 17 vs. Chattanooga), an early Fourth of July fireworks show (Tuesday, July 3 vs. Montgomery), and Labor Day (Monday, September 3 vs. Jacksonville, the final game of the season).

Again in 2012, Saturday night games will begin at 6:05 PM. Regular weeknight games will feature 7:05 PM starts and Sunday games will begin at 2:05 PM, with select Sunday games starting at 6:05 PM.

The Generals play one double-header in 2012, on Saturday, July 21, against the Huntsville Stars, with first pitch of game one at 4:05 PM.

All times are subject to change and road game times are yet to be determined.

The 2012 season marks both the 15th year of Double-A baseball at Pringles Park, in Jackson, TN and sixth as the Double-A affiliate of the Seattle Mariners.

Jackson Generals season tickets, flex plans, along with group outings and suite rentals, are available by calling the Generals front office at (731) 988-5299. Once again, a $5 food voucher will be included on every season ticket for each game.
