October 12, 2020 - North American Hockey League (NAHL)
Maine Nordiques News Release
Forward Tyler Gaulin, 18, had an impressive NAHL first weekend with the Nords helping his team to a weekend home sweep of the Northeast Generals.
The native of Kingston, NH, found himself withÃÂ ÃÂ a 2 goals and 2 assists for a well balanced four-point weekend. That included a goal and an assist in each of the two wins on Friday and Saturday to go along with a +/- rating of a +4.
Head Coach Nolan Howe had great things to say about Tyler Gaulin when asked he stated that: " Tyler is a dynamic forward who uses his hockey sense to put himself in great position on the ice and is usually multiple steps ahead of his opponents. His work away from the puck and his chemistry with his teammates allowed him to utilize his skill set to put up a number or important points for our team. The best part about Tyler is that the most important four points earned this weekend were from the team wins, not his own statistics, which is the standard within our locker room. We look forward to him continuing his hot start as the season continues."
Tyler is currently committed to play D1 hockey East hockey at the University of Maine.
