TAMPA, FL. - Nine points separate the second place Puerto Rico Islanders and the sixth place Fort Lauderdale Strikers. FC Edmonton and FC Tampa Bay are both right in the mix, separated by just four points.

The two teams face each other tomorrow night at Al Lang Stadium in St. Petersburg (K.O. 7 p.m. EDT/www.fcedmonton.com).

This will be the fourth and final regular season meeting between the two. FC Edmonton is in third place with 25 points; FC Tampa Bay is in fifth with 21.

Last time FC Edmonton travelled to Tampa they left with a point thanks to a last minute goal by Captain Chris Kooy. The two teams split the games in Edmonton with FC Edmonton winning the first match 4-0 on May 31 and FC Tampa Bay squeaking out a 2-1 win on July 17.

Edmonton is on a two-game losing streak but the line-up could be bolstered by the return of defender John Jonke who has served his two-game suspension for a red card he received against the Carolina RailHawks on July 13.

FC Tampa Bay saw its four-match unbeaten streak halted last Saturday night when it lost 2-1 at Atlanta. Forward Aaron King scored a goal for the fourth consecutive match, but FC Tampa Bay could not overcome two first half goals by the Silverbacks.

OTHER FACTS:

- FC Edmonton hasn't won a game since beating the Montreal Impact at home on June 26.

- This is FC Edmonton's second match on a three-game, 10-day road trip.

- FC Tampa Bay's Mike Ambersley is tied for second place in the league's goal scoring race with eight.
