FOXBOROUGH, Mass. - The red-hot New England Revolution will look to extend its three-game winning streak and remain atop the Eastern Conference when the club hosts bitter rival D.C. United on Thursday, May 29 at Gillette Stadium. The game will be televised nationally on ESPN2 and ESPN Deportes at 7:30 p.m. ET, while the game will also be available on ESPN2 HD. Radio listeners can catch all the action on the WEEI Radio Network.

New England and D.C. enter Thursday night's match at opposite ends of the Eastern Conference table, as the Revs are currently tied for first with a 6-3-1 record and an MLS-best 19 pts., while United occupies last place with a 3-7-0 record and 9 pts. However, D.C. picked up a come-from-behind win over Toronto FC in its most recent match and is looking to build momentum and confidence against a Revolution squad that is currently riding the league's longest winning streak.

The rivalry between the two clubs has been sparked over the course of the series history by the amount of times the teams have met, as the Revs have played D.C. 47 times in the all-time, regular-season series, marking the highest total number of games the Revolution has played against any MLS team. The sides have also met in three MLS Cup Playoff series (1997, 2004 and 2006) for an additional four meetings, while they've played one U.S. Open Cup match (2001).
