Tulsa Oilers News Release
The Chicago Blackhawks are one win away from ending the National Hockey League's longest Stanley Cup drought, and the Philadelphia Flyers are one win away from forcing a deciding seventh game in a playoff series for the second time this year.
The Tulsa Oilers will hold their sixth Stanley Cup watch party this season on Wednesday night at 7 o'clock at the River Spirit Casino, inside the Scoreboard Lounge. Chicago, which last won the Stanley Cup in 1961, is within one win of hockey's Holy Grail for the first time since 1971. Philadelphia is trying to even the best of seven series at three games apiece.
Home ice has held true in the series with all five games being won by the home team. Game six takes place in Philadelphia. Oiler personnel will be on hand to visit with fans during the game. Fans can win prizes for each goal scored in the game, by guessing the score, answering trivia questions and more.
The Oilers are hosting watch parties for all games of the Stanley Cup final at the River Spirit Casino. All games start at 7 p.m. with game seven if necessary to take place on Friday night.
The Oilers had the second highest point total increase in the CHL this season under head coach Bruce Ramsay, who was in his first season with the Oilers. They will have 32 home games at the BOK Center in the 2010-11 season.
Season tickets for 2010-11 with plans for as low as $26 a month are now available by calling the Oilers office at 918-632-PUCK (7825).
