OTTAWA, ON - Ottawa Fury FC have transferred midfielder Jonny Steele to Miami FC, the club announced Tuesday. Terms of the transfer were not disclosed. "It was a tough decision to let Jonny go but it was the best decision for the long and short term future of Ottawa Fury which is always the most important reason," said head coach Paul Dalglish. "We wish Jonny good luck. The staff and I will be scouring the market to strengthen the team over the coming weeks to add some much needed offense to the team." The move comes on the heels of Fury FC acquiring defender Eddie Edward and forwards Thomas Stewart and Giuseppe Gentile. Fury FC head on the road for the next two matches - July 17 in Edmonton and July 23 in Jacksonville - before returning to TD Place on July 27 against the Carolina RailHawks.
