NEW YORK (Friday, July 22, 2005) - Fulham FC manager Chris Coleman today announced his club's 20-man roster to face the MLS All-Stars at the 2005 Sierra Mist MLS All-Star Game on Saturday, July 30. The match will be played at Columbus Crew Stadium and televised live to a national audience on ABC Sports (3:30 p.m. ET).

The Fulham roster, featuring players from 13 different countries, is led by U.S. National Team players and former MLS All-Stars Brian McBride and Carlos Bocanegra. Among the other players on the roster are Holland Under-20 National Team star forward Collins John, English Premier League veteran forward Luis Boa Morte, England National Team defender Zat Knight, Canadian international Tomasz Radzinski and World Cup 2002 veteran Papa Bouba Diop, who scored a memorable game-winner against France in the opener of the Korea / Japan tournament. The club's new acquisitions on the trip include Czech goalkeeper Jaroslav Drobny, Danish left back Niclas Jensen and Icelandic forward Heider Helguson.

Fulham, one of the oldest clubs in world soccer dating back to 1879, is owned by Chairman Mohamed Al Fayed and makes its home in London's renowned Craven Cottage. The team has already played three matches during its 2005 preseason dropping a 3-2 result to German club Schalke 04 (July 13) while registering two scoreless ties against Scotland's Celtic Glasgow (July 16) and Austria's SK St. Andrae (July 11). Before the 2005 Sierra Mist MLS All-Star Game, Fulham will host Swansea (July 23) and meet the Columbus Crew (July 27). The London club will then follow its U.S. trip with a match against Greek team Panionios at Craven Cottage (August 6) before opening its Premier League season on Saturday, August 13 at home against Birmingham City.
