From The Beach To The BBQ Pit To Blair Field

May 23, 2007: The Long Beach Armada, members of the independent professional Golden Baseball League, announced today that Beach Ventures Inc., the parent company of local institution Alfredo's Beach Club, will oversee food and beverage operations while John and David Ursini's Naples Rib Company will cater large group events at Blair Field during the upcoming 2007 season. Beginning Opening Night on June 13th at 7:05 p.m., Long Beach fans will experience new and improved food and beverage service.

"We just added over 60 years of proven success, credibility, and experience in the concessions and restaurant business," said new Armada Chairman and President, Steven Bash. "Food quality, selection, service, and concession lines are often the deciding factors between happy and unhappy customers (and successful and unsuccessful sports teams). Armada fans and the Long Beach community can rest assured the changes made at Blair Field this summer will lead to the best in food, sports, and entertainment for the entire family."

After many successful years operating concessions for major league baseball stadiums around the country, Fred Khammar has been providing Southern California Beach and Park visitors quality food, beverage, and recreational services since 1977. Through Alfredo's Beach Club and its nine Long Beach locations, Khammar creates, promotes, and produces some of the most memorable, exciting, and tasty events of the summer. The Long Beach Sea Festival, Moonlight Movies on the Beach, and Pier Daze Seafood and Pirate Festival are just some of the fun-filled activities presented by Khammar and company.
